The BPSS process takes an average of 5 - 7 days to complete, it can take longer depending on the level of checks that may be required. We will keep you updated every step of the way.

DBS

Disclosure & Barring Service.
Formally CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) is a national Police check. This is a requirement to obtain a complete BPSS.

BPSS

Baseline Personnel Security Standard.
Pre-employment checks for (but not limited to) Civil Servants, the Armed Forces, temporary workers and Government Contractors.

Candidate experience
We make the process as simple as possible for candidates to follow. Our forms are all able to be completed electronically and eliminates the need for printing out paperwork.

Turnaround times
The average turnaround time of BPSS completion is five to seven working days. However, there are some variables in the vetting & screening process, such as waiting for a reference response, but we will endeavour to complete the screening in the fastest time possible.

Communication
Communication is key to any partnership, and we will ensure you are kept in the loop every step of the way. We will ensure that we communicate in plain English and not flummox our clients with technical jargon.

Our services include advice and support throughout the process of vetting your potential and current employees. Although a BPSS is only required as a pre-employment check, we recommend that the process is repeated every 5 years along with a new DBS check. This helps with mitigating possibilities of insider threat along with assessing the wellbeing of your employees and any changes that may be occurring in their lives.
